We are happy to invite you to the first Kotlin crash course in Brussels organised by the BelKUG and GDG. For a whole day, you’ll be able to learn / improve your Kotlin skills surrounded by a whole group of enthusiasts.
This course will cover an introduction to Kotlin and after the course you’ll be able to start working with the language and start adding it to your own codebases. If you already know the language, we’ll also offer exciting and challenging content for you which will help improve your skills.
How do I sign up?:
There are only 40 places available for the course, if you are interested in attending please sign up via Eventbrite:
10:00 – Open doors
10:30 – 10 min welcome and explanation presentation
10:40 – Split into groups and start of the basis / advanced theory
13:30 – Lunch break
14:30 – Codelabs
16:00 – Coffee break
19:00 – End of codelabs
Cost: The cost of the course is 10 EUR that will be paid upon arrival at the venue. Food will be provided and drinks will be available at 1 EUR, you are of course more than welcome to bring your own drinks!
You should have a basic knowledge of general programming to understand concepts like classes, objects, functions, variables, loops, and so on.
You will need to bring your laptop and charger, and to gain some time make sure you have Android Studio or IntelliJ IDEA installed (make sure the kotlin plugin is already installed) before you arrive.
